I was admittingly super skeptical of this romper fad.  I held off from buying one for a few months.  But then, I gave in because I needed something comfy to wear for a long day of being out in the heat.

This is just a basic navy blue romper from H&M.  It has little string that you can tie around your neck as a halter, but I prefer for it to be strapless.  It has a tie around the waist too, so you can cinch it in a give you a little shape.  I tried a bunch of different combinations of outfits, and now I love rompers!  They are so versatile.

This is one of the options I came up with.

The skinny sweater and necklace are from forever21.  The turquoise sandals are from old navy.

This is a really basic way to add a few pieces and have a cute and really comfortable outfit.  Perfect for shopping or going to a BBQ!

This is my attempt to dress it up a bit, but in a summery and comfy kind of way.  I added a summer scarf from Target (12.99), a necklace and belt from forever21, and cute, neutral peeptoe heels from Baker's.

Perfect for dinner on the town with your girlfriends!

This is what I ended up wearing for the evening.  I kept the scarf and the necklace, ditched the belt, and swapped the heels for a more comfy pair of sandals from Target.  (I felt like I was showing a little too much leg with those tall heels!)

And...ta da!  Now I love rompers!

Side note: These sandals ($15!) are super comfy and they come in like 8 different colors, including a fun orange and a turquoise.  You must get a pair!

Cute romper! I've been skeptical about them too, but that's only because I haven't come across the right one yet ;)
