I had to make some Shepard's Pie for the hubby this week to get him ready for the St. Patrick's Day festivities this weekend. If given the opportunity, he would eat his body weight in mashed potatoes, so I can easily say this is one of his favorite dinners.
The recipe is from Skinny Taste and it is soooo good. I followed the recipe exactly except: I used ground turkey in place of beef, chicken broth instead of beef, and I used peas, carrots, and corn for the mixed veggies instead of all that other jazz too. And make sure not to skip or skimp on the fresh herbs, that's what makes it sooo delish. Since Skinny Taste's picture is so much more appetizing than mine I wasn't going to post my own. But I want you to believe that I really did make it. Brace yourself.
