I know, so cheesy, but seriously, curtains are super important! And curtains can be soooo expensive. I have 30 plus windows in my house, so I can tell you that buying curtains can definitely brake the bank...but it doesn't have too. Here are some of my top, reasonably priced options.
Best for blocking out light, but still looking chic: Ikea's ANITA
($29.99 for a pair of floor length curtains). I just purchased these for my bedroom and I love them. The picture on-line does not do them justice. I purchased them in dark gray and they have such a rich color and silky feel, I love them! (They also come in brown and white).
Best for a little pop of color and texture: Target's Home Banded Faux Silk Curtains
($29.99 for one floor length curtain). I have very similar curtains to these in my dining room and living room. They come in a variety of subtle colors that can give a little life to a room without yelling at you. And the texture of the faux silk is very elegant. Plus, they are so similar to these
curtains from Pottery Barn that are 3 times the price!
Best Romantic Sheer for the price: Ikea's ALVINE RUND
($24.99 for a pair of floor length sheers). These would be perfect for a master or guest bedroom that you want to have a soft and calm feel. I really love the look of sheer curtains in a whimsical pattern alone or paired with a simple, solid-colored curtain. If you are interested in kicking it up a notch price-wise I love these
semi-sheers from West Elm too.
Best "Get 'Em While They're Hot": Pottery Barn's Burlap Deep Pocket Drape
(on sale for $49 to $79 depending on the length). I can't pass up burlap home accessories, it's a problem. I think burlap is rustic, chic perfection. With that said, these are some gorgeous curtains from Pottery Barn, the "get 'em while they're hot" part is because when they are not on sale they are $69 to $99 a curtain. Ouch.
Best Place for Cheap, Chic Curtain Rods: The Christmas Tree Shop. You seriously can't beat their prices and they have a lot of different styles!
