One of our (many) shopping goals while here in Ireland is to get me a claddagh ring. We traveled to Galway yesterday and that is the home of the original claddagh jeweler.
This tiny shop was hidden in the middle of a lot of commercialized stores, we were lucky to find it. I had to take a picture of the outside because it was just too cute. That yellow door is about 5 feet tall.
With the ring I received a card explaining the meaning of claddagh: the hands are for friendship, the heart is for love, and loyalty is shown with a crown up above.

Apparently, Thomas Dillons was the first jeweler to create the claddagh design and no one else can copy his exact design. His official jewelry is stamped "TD Original" on the inside. So, I was lucky to get the real deal!

Ireland has been amazing! I thought I would share some pics!
My new chambray shirt from Target!
The view from our backyard. You can see the mountain we are going to climb!
On Crough Patrick Mountain. And doing crow on the side of the mountain (my fav yoga pose).
We also found Boo's Irish cousin. Her name is Ruby. She was out of control cute.
Oh, and this is me spending time with our neighbors.

Our first Guinness in Ireland!!!
Let the fun begin!

I know I have been super MIA recently, but I have been really busy getting everything set for our vacation. We are leaving for Ireland this evening! I will be posting during our trip, so keep an eye out!
Cheers!

I know I have mentioned this before, but I am the worst person at experimenting with make-up.  I pretty much just wear a little powder and mascara and call it a day.  But I am working on being a little more adventurous.  I have found that I really like some of the new L'Oreal products.
L'Oreal Infallible 24 hr eye shadow in Iced Latte
This eye shadow is awesome!  I haven't tried it for 24 hrs yet-but it really stays on all day and night.  And this color is perfect for lightening up your eyes a little but still being natural.
L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara
I love this mascara.  It has a super thin wand which makes it very easy to prevent clumping and add some great length.
L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm SPF 15 in Rose Elixir
I like these tinted lip balms better then the Ulta brand one which I have mentioned before.  They add subtle color and make your lips really soft.

I just found these amazing tops at Target last week.  They are made from a light, gauzy material and are perfect for summer nights when the temperature goes down a little.
Merona Women's Breezy Gauze Tunic
$19.99

I bought the plaid and the chambray.  I wanted the white as well, but they didn't have my size.  I'll be keeping an eye out for one.  Paired with some cute cuffed shorts and flat sandals, these shirts will make a great summer wardrobe staple!

The hubby and I had a really nice date night last night, I thought I would share my outfit.  We went to a delish local sushi place.
Romper: Forever21 (seen here), Clutch: H&M (very old), Sandals: Target, Necklace: Esty (seen here)
Here's a close up of my new necklace.  I love it.  I want to get it in every color.

We are huge fans of our town's farmer's market.  Since I have a normal person's schedule now, I can actually go every Saturday which is so exciting!  Here are some of our farmer's market purchases for this weekend:
We bought some fresh squash, romaine lettuce, raspberries, mushrooms, and onions as well as some skirt steak and hot pork sausages from the local grass-fed meat stand.  There is also a healthy dog treat stand, so we got the pups some good stuff since they accompanied us to the market.

We grilled everything up tonight and had a fabulous and fresh dinner to end our weekend.  We are really lucky with what our farmer's market has to offer.  Not only do they have a huge selection of fruits, veggies, and plants, but there is a local fresh fish stand, grass-fed meat, fresh breads, and cheeses are sold as well.  Super bonus: everyone is really dog friendly so these fools enjoyed themselves.
P.S. We tried to grill the romaine we bought to make a salad similar to this recipe that I posted way back here.  It actually turned out really well and it tasted like the one we love from a local restaurant.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
